Council on Foreign Relations, Defence and Security

The Council on Foreign Relations, Defence and Security supports the Presidential institution in discussing and developing positions on issues related to foreign policy and national security. The goal of the Council is to become the centre of debates on topics of high public and social importance, and therefore it attracts a wide range of representatives of state institutions, political parties, the scientific community, business and the NGO community. The activities of the Council are organized and directed by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs or the Secretary of Defence and Security, depending on the subject of the meeting and in accordance with the General Rules for the structure and activities of the Council of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
