Bulgarian and Greek joint infrastructure projects are in the spirit of the Three Seas Initiative goals, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting with his Greek counterpart Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou held today at the Presidency. The President of the Hellenic Republic is visiting Bulgaria on the occasion of the Sixth Three Seas Initiative and Business Forum.

Bulgaria and Latvia are developing excellent cooperation within the Three Seas Initiative. The joint efforts of participating countries make the Initiative an increasingly recognisable platform for cooperation, allowing it to partner with potential investors from around the globe, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting today at the Presidency with the President of the Republic of Latvia, Egils Levits. The bilateral meeting is part of the Three Seas Initiative agenda starting today in Sofia.

The Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund has proven effectiveness, implementing its first investments in key connectivity sectors in the region – energy, transport and digitalisation. High added value is a main priority in selecting projects, so as to attract more investments, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting today with the Chairperson of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, Ms. Beata Daszy?ska-Muzyczka, and representatives of the Polish Development Bank. The Caretaker Minister of Economy, Mr. Kiril Petkov, also participated in the meeting at the Presidency.

President Rumen Radev discussed the priorities on the Agenda of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU at a meeting today at the Presidency with Anzej Franges, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Bulgaria. Slovenia took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the 1st of July this year.
