There is no reason to keep Bulgaria outside the Schengen zone, Prime Minister of Portugal Pedro Passos Coelho said during a meeting with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev.

President Rosen Plevneliev and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow agreed on a mixed intergovernmental commission between Bulgaria and Turkmenistan to review the state of trade and economic relations and to propose new joint projects.

Bulgaria will continue to support the implementation of European and Euro-Atlantic perspective of the Western Balkans.

President Rosen Plevneliev expects that initial versions of the National Strategy for Bulgarians Abroad to be ready in September and the first draft in November.
