The gas interconnection between Greece and Bulgaria, which is being launched today, not only provides real energy diversification for this country, but will also makes a significant contribution to fostering the stability and economic development of Southeast Europe. This was the common position of President Rumen Radev and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, expressed at a working meeting in Sofia.

This September's decision to build a third bridge over the Danube linking Bulgaria and Romania, reached between the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Romanian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, and to continue work on the remaining connectivity projects through new bridges are important steps towards improving the economic environment in Southeast Europe.
