President Rumen Radev receives the Chief executive of France's Direction generale de l'Armement

 
 
President Rumen Radev and Joel Barre, Chief executive of the Direction generale de l'Armement (DGA), discussed the opportunities for deepening cooperation between Bulgaria and France in the military-technical field and in defence and security. 
 
The two debated aspects of the new NATO strategic concept being prepared, in particular the strengthening of the Eastern flank of the Alliance. Radev and Barre reviewed the prospects for cooperation in the defence industry and the possibilities for joint exercises. They also touched on France's support for guaranteeing this country's air sovereignty and the potential for bilateral defence projects.
