President Radev and Deputy Speaker of South Korea's National Assembly Discuss Prospects for Deepening Economic and Investment Cooperation

President Rumen Radev and visiting Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Chung Woo-taik, discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the economic and investment sectors.

The Head of State emphasised that the Republic of Korea is an important partner for Bulgaria in East Asia and the active political dialogue and the potential in bilateral economic, cultural and political ties are a solid basis for the cooperation between the two countries to be elevated to the level of a strategic partnership. Rumen Radev confirmed his invitation to the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, to visit this country for further development of top-level bilateral dialogue.

Information and communication technologies, electronics and electric mobility, the automotive sector, the defence industry, industrial cooperation, as well as strengthening the partnership in education and science were highlighted as particularly promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
