The Acceleration of Work on Bilateral Agreements between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia in the Economy and Investments Will Send a Strong Positive Signal to Citizens and Businesses

Accelerating the signing of the bilateral agreements between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia for cooperation in the sphere of economy and investments will give a positive signal to the peoples of both countries and to businesses. This was the common position during the meeting in New York of President Rumen Radev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, who is the head of his country's delegation within the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. Excellent political dialogue and business potential in both countries are solid prerequisites for the implementation of projects of common interest, it was emphasized at the meeting.

As prospective areas of the bilateral partnership high technology, communications, transport connectivity and logistics were highlighted.

During the meeting, the escalation of tensions in the Middle East was discussed and general concern was expressed about the expansion of the territorial scope of military actions and the danger of new countries being involved in the conflict.
