Head of State Holds a Call with Polish Counterpart
Head of State Rumen Radev today held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda ahead of the upcoming summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Warsaw. At the end of the month, the Bulgarian President, together with an economic delegation, will participate in the event and the accompanying business forum. This year the Three Seas regional format, aimed at promoting the development of cooperation and connectivity, celebrates its 10th anniversary.
During the talks, President Radev highlighted the opportunities for bolstering bilateral economic and investment exchanges between Bulgaria and Poland in key areas such as transport and energy. Rumen Radev also highlighted the importance and potential of bilateral industrial cooperation, including in the defence sector.

For projects aimed at improving connectivity between Bulgaria and Turkiye must be viewed as a whole, to be successful, and within the context of closer cooperation in Southeastern Europe.
