President Rumen Radev met with representatives of Czech company Aero Vodochody
Head of State Rumen Radev held a meeting today with representatives of the management of the Czech aircraft manufacturer Vodochody. The meeting was also attended by H.E. Miroslav Toman, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria. The company manufactures the L-3ZA Albatros training and combat aircraft, which is used for the training and preparation of pilots from the Bulgarian Air Force.
During the conversation, the capabilities of the new Aero L-39 Skyfox training and combat aircraft, which the company manufactures, were presented. The possibility of using the aircraft for the training of flight crews for F-16 block 70 fighters was discussed. AERO representatives pointed to the relatively low costs of acquiring and operating the aircraft and expressed their readiness to collaborate with Bulgaria in their maintenance, as well as for industrial cooperation.
