The issue of power should not shift the problems of the people from the focus of Bulgarian politicians, which should be solved responsibly, the President tells journalists

Diplomacy has failed to prevent the conflict in Ukraine and continues to retreat. There is a lack of a decisive policy to put a quicker end to the aggression and the war, from which not only the warring parties but also all European economies are losing every day. This is what President Rumen Radev said at the Sofia Economic Forum III. The head of State was an honorary guest and a speaker at the closing part of the event. The forum brought together representatives of institutions, local authorities, businesses, ambassadors, and among the topics discussed yesterday were energy, economy and security in the context of the war in Ukraine and Bulgaria's role in the region of Southeast Europe.

Bulgaria and Austria have active economic and investment cooperation, share common positions on many issues on the European Union's agenda and will continue to develop their bilateral partnership in a comprehensive way. This was the common position of Presidents Rumen Radev of Bulgaria and Alexander Van der Bellen of Austria, who met today in the framework of the Three Seas Initiative summit in Riga.

Bulgaria is interested in the experience of the sustainable demographic development policies implemented by Hungary. This is what President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with Hungarian President Katalin Novak. The two heads of state held talks in Riga on the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative summit in Latvia, which is hosting the international forum this year.
